Primary Role:
To prepare, cook, and present food according to standard recipes and quality guidelines while maintaining hygiene, safety, and kitchen efficiency.
Prepare ingredients (washing, cutting, marinating, portioning)
Cook and assemble dishes according to menu standards
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company expectations
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and workstations
Monitor stock levels and inform supervisor of shortages
Properly store food items to prevent spoilage and wastage
Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen setup
Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
Comply with workplace safety and health regulations
Work efficiently during peak hours and support team members
Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
Basic cooking knowledge and kitchen experience preferred
Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
