The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of shore-based experience and prior experience as a Chief or Second Engineer. Qualifications

• 2 years of shore-based experience in technical management of container vessels or other vessel types.
• Prior experience as Chief or Second Engineer on a container vessel is preferred.
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure safety matters onboard and compliance with safety rules.
• Manage daily operations and advise ship staff on technical matters.
• Ensure proper maintenance and conduct risk analysis on vessel defects.
• Control annual operating budget for assigned vessels.
