Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an EHS Coordinator to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Legislations and Regulations.
  • 1-2 years experience in handling site and administration work regarding EHS matters.
  • 2-3 years working experience in Construction.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspection and act on non-compliances to EHS standards.
  • Train and monitor worker’s performance on safe work practices.
  • Maintain EHS records and documentation.
  • Monitor toolbox meetings and risk-impact assessments.
  • Act as safety assessor for high-risk construction work activities.
  • Make recommendations to rectify or improve work conditions.
  • Endorse Permit-To-Work system on EHS compliance.
  • Assist in reviewing risk-impact assessments.
  • Monitor WSH performance and compliance.
  • Authorize suspension of work due to unsafe conditions.
  • Promote EHS awareness among employees.
  • Follow up on all EHS recommendations.
  • Assist in ISO and Bizsafe Certification renewal.
  • Undertake ad-hoc work assignments.
