For more than 40 years, our advanced facilities in Singapore have led aerospace innovation across Asia Pacific. From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview
  • Operate various tools and machines (such as: Tack Welding, Coining, vapor degreaser, oxidation, high speed power blending and polishing tools).

  • Perform critical measurement on the hardware of compressor vanes in accordance to the engineering specification.

  • Apply braze material onto required areas on the hardware of compressor vanes.

  • Operate localize furnace for brazing processes.

  • Check cleanliness of hardware and samples.

  • Ensure all operations performed are in accordance to quality requirements.

  • Liaise with relevant personnel on concerns relating to production, quality, EHS, materials and maintenance.

  • Assist Facilitator in integrating and training of new employees.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks.

  • Perform daily maintenance checklist and ensure safe working practices.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Good control in the use of brazing application tools

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ level and/or with 3 years of relevant experience

  • Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English

Preferred Qualifications
  • Operation of simple powder blender and tack weld machine

  • Knowledge of industrial safety regulations
