Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to provide strategic oversight and technical support to our group Compliance team. This role combines deep domain knowledge with business acumen from Group Compliance to provide support and guidance to respective licensed entities, optimize KYC processes and drive continuous improvement in our Group Compliance operations.
A strong knowledge in regulatory compliance framework and AML/CFT regulations with an ability to balance the regulatory requirements and business objectives is essential. Role reports to the Vice President based in Singapore and works closely with Group Compliance in our offices to drive excellence in global compliance and KYC/AML operations.
Responsibilities
- Support and advise the business on regulatory compliance matters pertaining to licensed entities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive regulatory compliance policies, procedures and verification methods incorporating jurisdiction‑specific requirements and industry best practices.
- Partner with business teams to develop practical solutions that enhance growth while ensuring compliance in respective licensed jurisdictions.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert for all KYC/AML matters providing strategic guidance, escalation support and guidance for complex cases.
- Oversee and optimize KYC and AML sanction screening operations through available resources and support ensuring efficient processes across all licensed jurisdictions.
- Analyse operational metrics and conversion data to drive process improvements and enhance customer experience.
- Lead enhancement initiatives collaborating with stakeholders to optimize CDD onboarding platforms, workflows and other compliance frameworks.
- Refine and improve KYC and CDD onboarding processes through collaboration with stakeholders to improve conversions.
- Support the Compliance ad‑hoc matters in the Group.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of regulatory compliance experience in financial services, with demonstrated expertise in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Understanding of global regulations and compliance frameworks in licensed jurisdictions and emerging trends in digital finance.
- Experience in financial services industry, particularly in CFD/forex trading (preferred).
- Strong business acumen and ability to balance risk and business objectives.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent command of both Chinese (Mandarin) and English in written and spoken to communicate with Chinese‑speaking counterparts from other regions.

Additional Information
- CFD Industry experience is ideal (not mandatory). Candidate must have strong business acumen and financial sector experience working in payment, crypto or banking. Candidate should have basic knowledge of CFD and KYC compliance matters.
- Open to all nationalities as long as the candidate is fluent in Mandarin and English. (Four‑skill fluency is mandatory).
- First 6 months (probation) candidate will be based in Singapore office. After that relocate to Cyprus office for one year. After 1 year in Cyprus move back to Singapore office permanently.
- MiTrade has 6 licenses: Australia (ASIC), Cyprus (CySec), Cayman Islands (CIMA), Mauritius (FSC), South Africa (FSCA) – received Oct 2025, Dubai (SCA) – will receive Dec 2025.
- Direct report to VP in Singapore (Head of Department of Global Compliance).

- Company can provide relocation benefits when the candidate moves to Cyprus.
- Salary: Max HKD 70 000 (USD 8 900) – ideally HKD 40 000‑60 000 (USD 5 100‑7 700).
