COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Grace AG is looking for Communications Manager to be part of a dynamic team to develop and execute effective publicity, communications and digital strategies and collaterals that are aligned with the church’s goals and objectives to engage internal and external stakeholders. You will play a strategic role supporting the Head of Ministry in leading the Digital Campus Team. You will also involve in specific projects or taskforce as assigned by church leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Church Communications and Promotions

  • Be the brand custodian of the church, engage in media and public relations, and work with relevant stakeholders on response plans in crisis management.
  • Unify and align everyday messaging according to the church’s ethos, vision, goals and priorities.
  • Develop and execute a multi-channel communications strategy driven by the church’s mission/vision/values using appropriate channels, both new and conventional, to communicate to stakeholders.
  • Plan and manage church communications calendar, budget and resources.
  • Oversee day-to-day communication function, liaise with various campuses and ministries to update and maintain the church’s digital presence.
  • Partner with campuses and ministries, meeting with them and creating communications plans to mobilize their specific audiences to respond.
  • Ensure high-quality and high-impact communications reach to both internal and external audiences.
  • Develop and/ or oversee processes and tools that foster effective communications flow.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to provide publicity support for events.
  • Be involved as the lead for communications for Annual Business Meetings and other corporate matters.

Digital Communications (Digital Campus Team)

  • Provide strategic leadership and support for digital communications, ensuring alignment with the church's digital strategy.
  • Lead messaging and strategy for social media advertising campaigns.
  • Manage engaging content across social media and the website, overseeing online services, capturing impactful stories, and monitoring performance to optimize digital outreach.

Design & Brand Management

  • Lead the design of creative and effective art and promotional materials for church activities, ensuring a consistent and high-quality brand representation.
  • Oversee the church’s visual identity, including usage of logos and images.
  • Safeguard the corporate branding while addressing potential issues and collaborating with stakeholders on response plans.

Team Development

  • Build and guide a team of staff and volunteers to implement effective communications strategies across all campuses (e.g., photography/ videography serving teams, online engagement team, graphic designers).

WHO YOU ARE

  • Serving your full-time call to ministry.
  • Passionate about leveraging communications to reach people for Christ.
  • Degree in Communications, Media or related field, with at least 4 years of communications experience.
  • Dependable, responsible, independent and resourceful, and proactively looking for ways to pursue excellence.
  • Strong and meticulous team player with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills including editing and proofreading skills.
  • Social media savvy with reasonable knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital/social media.
  • Equipped with sound analytical, organisation and execution skills.
  • Good project management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Able to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels.
  • Good track record of leadership experience and proven ability in a similar capacity.
  • Operational knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress and HTML will be a plus.
