Job summary

A leading outsourcing solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT support professional to provide 24x7 Cloud infrastructure support and manage operational activities. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the IT industry, including familiarity with AWS and Azure. The role involves troubleshooting issues on both Cloud and physical server platforms, requiring expertise in Windows Server and Linux systems.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in IT industry.
• Experience in server/system change request.
• Experience in Cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and EC2.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2012 R2/2016/2019, Linux/Unix, and Active Directory.
• Experienced in Server Backup.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 Cloud infrastructure support to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform and manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities.
• Monitor Cloud infrastructure and escalate issues as per procedures.
• Assist customers in solving issues related to Cloud platforms and physical servers.
• Manage change request of systems and servers.
• Provide user support on various system technologies.

Job Scope

• To provide 24x7 Cloud infrastructure support to ensure smooth operations that conformed to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• To perform and manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities such as service requests, report generation, incident response, patch management.
• To perform Cloud infrastructure monitoring and escalation as per standard operations procedures.
• To assist the customer in solving issues related to both Cloud platforms and physical servers platforms.
• To manage the change request of systems and servers.
• To provide support to users on a variety of system technologies including Microsoft Windows Server OS, Unix/Linux OS, Hypervisor and Middleware.
• Plan and implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in IT industry.
• Must have experience in server/system change request.
• Must have experience in Cloud environment like AWS, Azure and EC2.
• Must have experience in physical server, Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2012 R2/2016/2019, Linux/Unix and Active Directory.
• Experienced in Server Backup.
