A healthcare organization seeks an Operations Coordinator to oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance while providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate should have at least an NITEC qualification and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing patient interactions, maintaining medical records, and assisting during consultations. Shift flexibility is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations for our specialist clinics to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and case notes in full PDPA compliance, create new files, control access, retrieve and re-file promptly.
Handle front desk operation including patient registration, payments collection, appointment booking, and basic financial counselling.
Monitor inventory of medical supplies and consumables; perform ordering and receiving; maintain inventory logs.
Maintain accurate medical records with full PDPA compliance; control access and filing.
Managing third party insurance claims, Medisave claims, Medishield claims, procurement
and maintenance functions, and licensing documentation.
Support Doctor during consultations and minor procedures, chaperone when required; assist within competency.
Prepare consultation rooms, check equipment and consumables; uphold cleanliness and infection-prevention standards.
Ensure availability and proper functioning of payment terminals and essential clinic systems.
Dispense medications in accordance with clinic guidelines, policies and procedures.
Uphold high standard of service quality and patient safety.
Perform any other duties to be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Minimum NITEC or equivalent.
Experience in healthcare settings and the ability to perform Phlebotomy would be an advantage.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
Good customer-service mindset.
Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
Willing to work shift schedules, including weekends.
