Job summary

A leading engineering firm based in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to participate in the planning and designing of civil engineering works. This role involves overseeing construction activities and coordinating technical issues with consultants and subcontractors. Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, and proficiency in engineering software like AutoCAD. The position offers opportunities for project coordination and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineer or its equivalent, preferably recognized by Professional Engineers Boards of Singapore.
• Proficient in both MS Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
• At least 5 years of working experience in related field such as MRT, railways, tunneling projects.
• Good exposure in design of Civil Engineering works.
• Prior experience in working in construction industry preferred, especially in Civil Projects.
• High level of competence in the use of relevant engineering design software.

Responsibilities

• Be involved in the planning and designing of civil engineering works.
• Oversee construction activities, planning, implementation, and monitoring work schedules.
• Liaise with consultants for technical issues and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Assist in project coordination and oversee all structural/Civil works on site.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager.
