Job Description

• Teach Mandarin classes in accordance with the Centre’s programme.
• To lead and supervise team members under their responsibility
• Conduct regular team meetings to enable members of the team to air their concerns and needs
• Recommend solutions to solve problems and provide feedback to the Head of Mandarin Department or Director
• Identify the long-term needs and growth of teachers, programmes, departments, students and parents
• Assist and support the Head of Mandarin Department in the implementation and development of new programmes and projects
• Support the Head of Mandarin Department in the day-to-day running of the department and programmes
• To liaise with parents where necessary

Job Requirements

• Min Diploma in Early Childhood (DPT / DECCE-T (CL)) / ECDA L2 in Mandarin
• To teach Chinese Preschool / Speech & Drama / Language certification programmes
• Excellent spoken and written Mandarin Language - Necessary to teach Chinese Language programmes
• Positive, energetic and a good team player
• Must be able to work on both weekends, Saturday and Sunday

工作职责

• 根据中心的教学计划教授华文课程
• 协助编写新的华文课程及教学计划
• 领导和监督其职责范围内的团队成员
• 定期召开团队会议让团队成员表达他们的担忧和需求
• 提出解决问题的方案并向中文系主任或总监提供反馈
• 确定教师、项目、院系、学生和家长的长期需求和成长
• 协助和支持中文系主任实施和开发新的计划和项目
• 支持中文系主任处理部门和项目的日常运作
• 建立及保持良好的家园关系

• 学前教育文凭(DPE-T/DECCE-T)
• ECDA L2 (中文)
• 学前，戏剧教学经验
• 普通话标准,写作规范
• 必须能够在周末、周六和周日工作
