Job summary

A leading educational advisory group in Singapore is seeking a Childcare Assistant Teacher to support the main classroom teachers and facilitate the learning of children. Responsibilities include conducting routine care, preparing teaching aids, and maintaining relationships with parents and children. Candidates are preferred to have FECCE certification. Competitive salary between $1,500 and $2,200 is offered.

Assistant Teacher

Role Description

Support the main classroom teachers in the implementation of daily programs to facilitate learning of children.

Conduct daily routine care and related duties.

Assist in preparing and implementing the programs for children.

Assist with planning, share ideas and exchange feedback with the entire team once a month, adhoc basis and as required.

Prepare age and developmentally appropriate teaching aids.

Evaluate and maintain records of children’s development.

To render basic first aid as and when necessary.

Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, prepare art and craft materials, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom.

Use positive discipline techniques at all times.

Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.

Being part of the team, you will participate in parents and community engagement activities.
