A rapidly scaling asset management firm is hiring a dynamic and entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to architect its financial future. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with founders to drive financial strategy, capital planning, and fund launch initiatives.
• Build the finance function end-to-end, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management.
• Lead fund accounting, valuations, NAV oversight, and investor reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance, and regulatory compliance across the firm and its funds.
• Manage relationships with fund administrators, auditors, banks, and external partners.
• Hire, develop, and lead a lean, high-performing finance and operations team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior finance or CFO role within asset management, hedge funds, private equity, or fintech.
• Proven ability to build finance functions in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Strong fund accounting, modelling, and investor reporting expertise.
• Confident communicator with stakeholder and investor-facing credibility.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as this role will require external engagements with North Asian counterparties.
