Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our vibrant team in Singapore. You will be responsible for managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and execution of traditional Greek dishes with consistency and excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring the flavors of the Mediterranean to life in a modern, dynamic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g. grill, hot starters, cold meze, pastry) focused on Greek specialties.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with Greek culinary traditions and restaurant recipes.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with hygiene and safety standards (SFA regulations).
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
  • Guide and train junior chefs and kitchen assistants within your section.
  • Monitor inventory for your section, assist with stock control, and communicate shortages.
  • Participate in menu development, offering suggestions for seasonal or regional Greek dishes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation at all times.

Preferred Qualification & Experience

  • GCE 'N'/ 'O' level or Diploma in Culinary Arts.
  • 3 years of relevant culinary experience in restaurants.
  • Possess WSQ Follow Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures.
  • Understand Greek culture and have good working knowledge of Greek cuisine would be advantageous but not compulsory.
  • Able to work on weekends, eve of public holidays and public holidays.
  • Able to work on 5.5 - days’ work week schedule
