Job description

Aerospace Component Engineering Services (ACES) Pte Ltd is a joint venture between SIA Engineering Company and Parker Aerospace specializing in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of hydraulic pumps, actuators, valves and flight controls for commercial aircraft.

As we enter a new phase of business growth and gearing up for new generation aircraft to support customers mainly in the Asia Pacific region, we are inviting suitable candidates to apply for the post of CERTIFYING STAFF/INSPECTOR/SENIOR TECHNICIAN/TECHNICIAN /TRAINEE TECHNICIAN for this exciting role as part of the Operations Team.

We require individuals with a high level of initiative, self-motivation, excellent problem-solving skills, to fulfil the role that involves testing, disassembly, inspection, repair and assembly of state‑of‑the‑art hydro‑mechanical aircraft components.

ACES will develop employees and equip them with hands‑on skills and knowledge through training programs developed in‑house or industry specific courses.

The ideal candidate should possess the following requirements to be considered for this position:

  • Minimum 3 GCE "O" / "N" / "A" Level passes, OR
  • NITEC / Higher NITEC/Certificate/Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical or Mechatronics or relevant engineering discipline obtained from a recognized institution;
  • Candidates without experience will be considered
  • Personnel who have passed Air Legislation CAAS/EASA papers (L12, L11, M10, M09) and hold ratings such as C7, C8, C12, and C14 will have an added advantage.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • To read and work from component maintenance manuals, technical orders, drawings, and written instructions.
  • Practical experience (disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly and acceptance testing) of mechanical and electro‑mechanical components would be preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to interpret electrical wiring schematics, hydraulic system schematics and single‑line diagrams;
  • Proficiency in the English language such as read, write and simple reporting
  • Working knowledge of MS‑Office applications on Windows platform.
  • Ability to apply workplace safety and health practices, contribute to 6S practices and continuous improvement initiatives in the workplace.
