Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director in identifying, monitoring, communicating, and reviewing the department's performance and outcome indicators to ensure goals are achieved effectively and efficiently.
• Strategically plan and review resource allocation (manpower and financial) to support competing departmental objectives.
• Develop and implement the TWSH Framework with an emphasis on Occupational Health and Staff Protection.
• Lead the Secretariat for the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and Occupational Health (OH) Committee.
• Oversee the planning and implementation of new TWSH initiatives, from conceptualisation to execution.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of TWSH programmes and drive continuous improvement to meet the organisation's objectives.
• Supervise the operations of the Occupational Health Clinic to ensure seamless service delivery and safeguard staff safety and well-being.
• Oversee the Staff Protection Office, focusing on preventing and managing staff abuse or harassment by external parties, including post-incident management and preventive measures such as training and education.
• Lead and participate in organisation-wide projects as assigned.
• Support emergency planning exercises and provide assistance during organisational emergencies or incidents when required.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.
