Calibration & Service Engineer, Radio Frequency (RF) Test & Measurement

Location: Loyang, Singapore

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Calibration & Service Engineer, focusing on the sophisticated range of Radio Frequency (RF) and Test & Measurement (T&M) equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As a hands-on technical expert, you will ensure the operational excellence and quality of service delivery:

• RF Calibration & Repair: Execute complex depot and on-site repair and calibration services for a wide portfolio of T&M equipment, specifically within the RF and wireless domain. Your goal is consistently high quality with minimal re-work.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Conduct site troubleshooting at customer locations to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment failures and performance issues.
• Quality & Traceability: Ensure all service work complies strictly with ISO 9001 standards and maintain meticulous traceability of all calibration and repair records.
• Operational Efficiency: Optimize service processes and asset utilization within the service department to meet committed turnaround times (TAT).
• Knowledge Transfer: Serve as a technical resource, providing regional service training and technical support to internal Rohde & Schwarz subsidiaries and service centers.
• New Product Readiness: Evaluate the service capability of new products to ensure smooth future integration into the service pipeline.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Expertise

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Electronics, Communication Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience in the RF, Wireless, or Test & Measurement (T&M) industry.
• RF & T&M Knowledge: Strong knowledge of RF principles (e.g., signal generation, spectrum analysis, vector network analysis) and metrology concepts related to T&M technologies.
• Repair Skills: Proven ability with equipment repair, including good soldering skills for component-level work.
