The C&B Specialist is responsible for evaluating business and employee needs to administer the organization’s payroll, compensation, and benefits programs. This role oversees accurate and timely monthly payroll processing for assigned affiliates while supporting the review and continuous improvement of the company’s total rewards framework. This position collaborates closely with stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy, market competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations, Payroll & Administration
- Oversee and execute end‑to‑end payroll processing for assigned regional affiliates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely salary disbursement in partnership with external payroll vendors
- Manage the full spectrum of compensation and benefits programs across regional affiliates, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and local requirements
- Ensure compensation practices comply with internal pay‑equity standards and relevant local legislation, maintaining consistency and fairness across all entities
- Prepare and analyze payroll and compensation reports to support data‑driven decision‑making and workforce planning
- Contribute to the review and enhancement of compensation and benefits frameworks to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with the company’s culture, philosophy, and talent attraction and retention strategies
- Assess and monitor the effectiveness of employee benefits programs, gathering feedback and recommending improvements to enhance employee satisfaction
- Lead or co‑lead program design discussions, annual C&B cycle deployment, post‑implementation reviews, and continuous improvements to program effectiveness
- Conduct job evaluations, develop and maintain salary structures, and perform compensation competitiveness analyses to support salary budgeting and overall talent strategy
- Facilitate salary benchmarking and market analysis exercises to ensure competitive positioning and informed compensation decisions
- Support annual internal and external audit exercise by providing accurate data, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, and addressing any findings in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior payroll team members to support capability development and operational excellence
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 5–8 years of relevant experience in compensation, benefits, or HR operations (experience in a regional role is an advantage)
- In‑depth knowledge of compensation practices, job evaluation methodologies, market analysis, and regulatory requirements related to total rewards
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in interpreting compensation survey data and generating meaningful insights and reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with proven skills in engaging cross‑functional teams and partnering with senior stakeholders
- Detail‑oriented and highly organized, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and confidential data with discretion
- Up‑to‑date understanding of local and regional C&B practices, including legal requirements governing pay and benefits
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with an analytical and goal‑oriented mindset
- Experience using HR or C&B metrics to support data‑driven decision‑making
- Thorough understanding of HR functions and best practices, with broad exposure to HR operations and policies
