Job Title: Luxury Goods Buyer/Appraiser

Working Location: CBD, Singapore

Working Hours: 5-day work week (Fixed Sundays Off) [Mon-Fri: 9.30am to 6.30pm, Sat: 9am to 6pm]

Job Purpose:

Our client is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Luxury Goods Buyer / Appraiser, focusing primarily on the purchase of pre-loved luxury handbags and other high-end fashion items. The successful candidate will work in a customer-facing environment, supporting the assessment and acquisition of second‑hand luxury products. Prior experience in buying or appraisal is welcome, but not required—training will be provided. Since many of their customers are Japanese, this role requires interaction in Japanese during daily operations. Therefore, conversational-level Japanese is necessary to perform the job effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate the authenticity, condition, and market value of second‑hand luxury handbags and related items.
• Interact with customers in-store and online regarding purchase inquiries.
• Conduct simple cleaning or touch‑ups on acquired products.
• Coordinate repairs with external partners when necessary.
• Record purchased items accurately in the internal inventory system.
• Stay updated on luxury fashion trends, pricing, and product knowledge.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
