Role & Responsibilities

Household Management & Organization

  • Set up and manage household systems and routines to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Monitor and manage cleaning, maintenance, and inventory procedures.
  • Keep household inventories organized and well-stocked, including cleaning supplies, luxury items, and pantry essentials.
  • Plan meals for family members and visitors, considering dietary needs and restrictions.
  • Manage mail, parcels, special requests, and errands.
    Supervise daily meal service and aid in preparing grocery lists, while noting dietary preferences such as vegetarian or gluten-free options.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance, insurance coverage, and secure storage of high-value items, including art, jewellery, luxury apparel, handbags, and collections.
  • Ensure the home looks sophisticated with furnishings, décor, lighting, and seasonal touches. Pay attention to furniture arrangement, fresh flowers, and room ambiance.
  • Coordinate pet care (food, grooming, exercise) with staff or providers.

Hands-On Support & Staff Coordination

  • Collaborate with domestic helpers to maintain service standards and efficiency.
  • Assist the team in upholding household standards.
  • Supervise and manage the performance of domestic helpers, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with policies.
  • Guide service standards and manage staff performance.
    Supervise part-time contractors and vendors to meet service standards.

Facilities & Household Management

  • Verify that security, lighting, HVAC, and appliances are working correctly.
  • Managing cleaning schedules, overseeing repairs and renovations, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining household supplies and equipment inventories.

Budgeting & Financial Management

  • Help manage budgets, track expenses, and pay bills.
  • Manage household finances and transactions.
  • Collaborate with accountants and the employer's Executive Assistant to ensure accurate financial management.

Event Planning

  • Keep the home tidy and ready for guests.
  • Coordinate with the employer and the Executive Assistant to plan and execute family gatherings, events, and special occasions hosted by the employer.
  • Coordinating logistics, staffing, menu planning, managing contractors and services, overseeing guest lists and floral arrangements, and handling event logistics.

Household Security & Confidentiality

  • Ensure home safety with access controls and emergency plans.
  • Overseeing the installation and maintenance of security systems, managing access controls, coordinating with security personnel, and implementing emergency response protocols.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling personal, financial, and other private matters of the household.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in private households or reputable hospitality or aviation organizations.
  • Experience managing staff, vendors, and contractors.
    Excellent references from past and current employers, showing reliability and superior service.
  • Service-oriented personality with a proactive and calm demeanour.
  • Proficient in English with strong abilities in speaking, writing, and understanding.
  • Superior organizational skills, including process optimization, project management, and time management.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a self-starter mindset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for working with Stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in a pet-friendly home.

  • 5-day work week with flexible scheduling required, including flexibility to work on Saturdays and adaptability for occasional evenings or events.
