Our client, a leading Fintech/IoT service provider, seeks an Alliance Manager to drive their global partnership strategy. This role is crucial for ecosystem expansion, focusing on creating deep, revenue-generating alliances with Financial Institutions (FIs) and self-service/vending operators. You will manage the full partner lifecycle, acting as a strategic solutions consultant to ensure the realization of value from their cutting-edge PaaS platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Develop, own, and execute the comprehensive partnership roadmap, focusing on FIs and self-service operators to drive platform adoption and ecosystem growth.
- Partner Acquisition: Proactively identify, source, and secure new, high-value strategic partnerships that integrate with the PaaS platform to create new business models.
- Deal Management: Lead the full partner lifecycle, including negotiating and closing complex, multi-year commercial and technology agreements (focusing on platform integration/APIs).
- Solutions Consultancy: Act as a trusted advisor, leading the design and presentation of end-to-end solutions that leverage the PaaS capabilities for partners and their strategic end customers.
- Relationship Cultivation: Build and maintain strong, executive-level relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and platform expert for key partner decision-makers.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in a strategic partnerships, solutions consultancy, or business development role within the FinTech or Payments technology sector.
- Deal Track Record: Proven success in sourcing, negotiating, and closing complex strategic deals with Financial Institutions (FIs) and/or large-scale self-service/vending operators.
- Platform Expertise: Direct experience with a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model, ideally within the self-service, vending, or IoT commerce context.
- Technical Acumen: Deep functional understanding of payment processing, platform APIs, card schemes, and modern financial/vending technical architecture.
- Education & Acumen: Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical/quantitative field with demonstrated strong business acumen and financial modeling skills.
