Business Development Manager (Healthcare/Pharma & Life Sciences)

This role is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base in the public to private healthcare lifesciences to pharmaceutical & lab related sectors. It encompasses identifying new market opportunities, prospecting and generating leads, building strong client relationships and monitoring industry trends. The role also involves aligning initiatives with internal teams, track key performance metrics and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Job Details
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Generate leads through prospecting, networiking and engagement in public to private healthcare lifesciences to pharmaceutical & lab related sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to encourage referrals
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends to inform strategy and benchmark offerings.
  • Collaborate with CEO, Finance and internal operations teams to align initiatives and optimize execution.
  • Track sales performance, report key metrics and provide actionable insights to support management decision-making.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business / Marketing to Engineering or any related field(s)
  • Min 10 years proven sales track record in achieving revenue and profitability targets, preferably in B2B - logistics related services, pharmaceutical, public to private healthcare lifescience sector(s).
  • Strong leadership, posses effective interpersonal communication, negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in sales analytics, CRM tools, reporting systems and forecasting methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving & decision-making skills required in a fast-paced environment.
