Job description

We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development professional to support and grow our presence in the energy projects sector across Asia.

This role focuses on external business development, customer-facing sales activities, and account support, working closely with senior management to convert opportunities into executed orders.

Key Responsibilities
1. External Business Development
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned markets and sectors
  • Support market research, lead generation, and opportunity qualification
  • Assist in developing sales strategies for target customers and projects
  • Participate in customer meetings, calls, and visits together with senior management
2. Sales & Account Support (Indoor Sales)
  • Prepare quotations, cost breakdowns, and commercial proposals
  • Coordinate internal inputs (technical, pricing, delivery) to support offers
  • Handle sales-related documentation, follow-ups, and clarifications
  • Support existing customer accounts and ongoing enquiries
3. Opportunity Management & Follow-Up
  • Track sales opportunities from enquiry to order award
  • Maintain accurate sales records, trackers, and customer information
  • Follow up with customers on proposals, negotiations, and project status
  • Support contract review and handover to operations upon order award
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline
  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles
  • Experience in industrial, energy, construction, or project-based environments is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
