Job Description & Requirements
The local ServiceNow Business Analyst is the primary contact for all requests and issues related to the ServiceNow platform for the Singapore region. He/she acts as the interface between end users, local business teams, and central Service Now technical teams, ensuring alignment of local needs with the global platform strategy.
Requirements Gathering and Qualification
- Engage with users and stakeholders to understand and document their requirements for business processes or systems.
- Assess requests, identify dependencies, and consider impacts on existing processes and the ServiceNow platforms.
- Collaborate with other analysts to validate needs and feasibility.
Support and Training
- Assist in creating and updating user documentation and training materials.
- Deliver training sessions to users to support adoption of platforms and new features.
Collaboration and Communication
- Participate in team meetings, providing local perspectives and user feedback.
- Facilitate communication between local and central teams regarding project and incident progress.
- Communicate reasons for prioritization or non-feasibility of requests in a clear and structured manner.
Functional Expertise
- Maintain knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM module functionalities.
- Suggest improvements to platforms based on feedback.
- Participate in testing and validation of new features or upgrades as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a business analyst or similar role, preferably in an international environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong functional expertise in ServiceNow ITSM module (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog Management).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum is a plus).
- Certifications: ITIL v4 certification required.
- Languages: Proficiency in English for communication with local and international teams.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; customer orientation; ability to work independently and proactively; flexibility.
Working Conditions
- Based in Singapore, with standard office hours. Occasional work outside regular hours may be required for coordination across time zones.
