Location : Alexandra Building
We are seeking an experienced IT System / Business Analyst to work closely with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality banking system solutions. The role involves requirement analysis, system documentation, stakeholder coordination, and end-to-end SDLC support within a regulated financial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, identify gaps, and define system requirements for new initiatives and enhancements
- Perform detailed analysis of existing systems and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and optimisation
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and user stories
- Work closely with development, architecture, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements
- Facilitate requirements workshops, discussions, walkthroughs, and stakeholder reviews to obtain alignment and approvals
- Provide support during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect analysis and resolution tracking
- Assist in preparation of user guides, training materials, and provide post-implementation support where required
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, change management, and impact analysis activities
- Stay updated on banking technology trends, regulatory considerations, and system analysis best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Computing, or related discipline
- 3–7 years of experience as a System Analyst / IT Business Analyst / Application Analyst
- Prior experience in banking or financial services environments is strongly preferred
- Strong experience in gathering, analysing, and documenting complex system and business requirements
- Proficient in creating process flows, functional specifications, use cases, and system documentation
- Good understanding of SDLC, system integration, and testing methodologies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Key Domain / Technical Skills
(Up to 3 core areas)
- Banking products, systems, and regulatory awareness
- Database concepts and SQL; understanding of system integrations and interfaces
- Familiarity with project and delivery tools such as JIRA or Microsoft Project
