Job summary

A prominent marine fuel supplier in Singapore seeks an experienced professional for bunker fuel sales. The role involves building strong relationships with shipowners and charterers, sourcing competitive prices, and executing trades. Candidates should have 3-5 years in bunker trading, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is an office-based role with working hours from 10 AM to 7 PM, extending to 9 PM occasionally.

Qualifications

  • Established client base and supplier network within the shipping and maritime sector.
  • Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, international trading environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, operators, and charterers to drive bunker fuel sales.
  • Source competitive bunker prices from global suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Execute bunker trades, including deal confirmation and documentation.
  • Track market trends, price movements, and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with operations and finance teams for timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate trade records and provide regular reports.

Working Hours: 10am - 7pm (Trading activity peaks around 6pm; may occasionally extend to 9pm)

Work Arrangement: Office based

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute bunker trades, including deal confirmation, documentation, and post-deal follow-up.
  • Track market trends, price movements, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with operations and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth payment processes.
  • Maintain accurate trade records and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in bunker trading or marine fuel sales.
  • Established client base and supplier network within the shipping and maritime sector.
