Job summary

A facilities management firm in Singapore is looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee operations and vendor management. You will ensure adherence to standards, assist in contract management, and develop team capabilities. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant experience and a degree in Engineering. This role offers a salary of up to $6000.

Job description

Location: Queenstown

Working days: Mon - Fri , Office Hours

Salary: Up to $6000

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facilities Operations & Vendor Management

  • Support day-to-day Civil & Building system operations, including breakdown investigations, inspections, and audits
  • Oversee vendors and ensure they meet service KPIs and performance standards
  • Monitor system faults, recommend improvement plans, and support recovery from critical failures

2. Contract Management

  • Assist with end-to-end contract management – drafting, monitoring, compliance, dispute handling, and renewals
  • Maintain records, prepare documentation for audits, and respond to authorities when required
  • Ensure adherence to procurement, finance, and audit policies

3. SOPs, Audits & Risk Management

  • Develop and update SOPs and checklists to align with best practices and regulatory standards
  • Conduct performance audits and track vendor deliverables
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, and support audit preparedness

4. Project Support & System Upgrades

  • Provide input on system design and integration for facility projects
  • Plan and coordinate system upgrades or replacements before end-of-life

5. Team Development & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work with site and group leads to build team capabilities and support learning opportunities
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing and benchmarking initiatives
Requirements:
  • Min. Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
  • Min. 3 years’ experience in managing Civil & Building services, facilities operations, or improvement projects
  • Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills
  • Positive attitude and able to work with staff at all levels
