About the Role:

The Brand Director/ Sr. Brand Manager role is the regional brand custodian and growth leader, responsible for shaping and delivering Paula’s Choice’s brand strategy, communications, and creative expression across all consumer touchpoints in Southeast Asia.

This role leads and integrates the Brand Marketing, Social Media, PR & KOL, and Creative functions, ensuring a cohesive, insight-driven, and commercially effective brand ecosystem. The role partners closely with the Commercial teams, Media, Finance, and Global HQ to drive both brand equity and revenue growth in a complex, fast-growing region.

This is a leadership role requiring strong Strategic thinking, Agility, Complexity Management, People leadership, creative judgement, and operational excellence.

This role will report into the General Manager Southeast Asia and will be based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and define the regional brand strategy, ensuring alignment with Global brand direction while adapting for local market relevance and cultural nuance
  • Ensure brand compliance across all channels, markets, and partners
  • Lead regional adoption and rollout of major global initiatives (e.g. brand campaigns, portfolio launches and roll-outs, hero narratives)
  • Translate brand strategy into clear frameworks, playbooks, and guidance for markets and agencies
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of regional IMC/ 360 deg. Campaigns, product launches, and key commercial moments across all online and offline touchpoints and communication channels – ATL, BTL, digital, social, retail, CRM, VM
  • Guide ideation from concept through execution, balancing brand storytelling with commercial effectiveness
  • Partner closely with all Commercial teams-->E-commerce, Marketplace and Wholesale and Media teams to align brand storytelling with performance outcomes
  • Work closely with the different Market teams to ensure campaigns are insight-led, differentiated, and scalable across markets while allowing for local optimization
  • Ensure content and assets are future-proofed, modular, and optimized for omnichannel deployment
  • Drive initiatives for Top Funnel awareness building efforts across markets
  • Collaborate with Retail and Commercial teams on offline brand execution, VM direction, and retail-led campaigns
  • Balance brand ambition with budget discipline, ROI accountability, and operational feasibility
  • Lead, coach, and develop a multi-disciplinary regional team across Brand Marketing, Social, PR & KOL, and Creative
  • Build a high-performance culture grounded in clarity, accountability, collaboration, agility and continuous improvement
  • Define team structures, roles, capabilities, and succession planning in line with business growth
  • Foster strong collaboration between global (HQ) stakeholders, regional peers and local market teams

Requirements & Experience

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in brand marketing, with senior leadership experience in a regional or multi-market role
  • Strong background in beauty, skincare, FMCG, or premium consumer brands
  • Proven experience leading integrated brand, creative, social, and PR/KOL functions
  • Track record of delivering impactful brand campaigns that drive both equity and commercial results
  • Strong people leadership experience, managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across senior internal and external partners
  • Strategic thinker with strong executional rigour and attention to detail
  • Experience in agency management
