Job summary

A leading technology services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Engineer to oversee BMS operations and maintain energy efficiency in healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in engineering and has at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in BMS and ACMV services.
• Relevant experience in hospital/healthcare building setups is preferred.
• Good analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the BMS for smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot system faults and performance issues.
• Prepare performance reports and identify energy optimization opportunities.
• Identify energy efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Provide training for Facilities staff on BMS.
• Assist with facilities operations and system inspections.
• Oversee vendor performance to meet KPIs.
• Support audits within the hospital context.
• Assist the KRC Masterplan Project team.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain the BMS to ensure smooth day-to-day building operations.
• Troubleshoot systems faults and equipment performance.
• Prepare reports on system performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency through BMS optimization.
• Provide technical support and training for Facilities staff on BMS usage and troubleshooting.
• Assist ACMV Trade Site Team in facilities operations such as system breakdown investigations, inspections, audits, review of maintenance programme, etc.
• Oversee and guide specialist vendors to meet their KPIs to ensure consistent performance.
• Participate and support audits that the hospital subscribes to.
• Provide support to the KRC Masterplan Project team on the institution’s integrated BMS and ACMV infrastructure system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in BMS and ACMV services, energy monitoring, and building services.
• Relevant experience in hospital/healthcare building setups is preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and analytical, communication, writing and presentation skills.
