Job summary

A leading Singaporean firm is seeking a BIM Coordinator to create BIM content and ensure compliance with VDC/IDD standards. Responsibilities include preparing models and documentation, performing QA/QC, and advising junior modellers. Applicants should have a Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and be proficient in Revit and Navisworks. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in BIM coordination.

Qualifications

• 4 years of full-time experience in BIM interfacing and coordination, preferably with A1 Main Contractors or Consultants.
• Experience in infrastructure projects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create BIM content and production documents for BIM-assisted projects.
• Perform QA/QC on modeller & consultants’ models to ensure alignment with VDC/IDD standards.
• Produce BIM model deliverables for design, documentation, and fabrication purposes.
• Prepare BIM documentations and shop drawings directly from models.
• Interpret engineering drawings and update Consultant’s RFI to reflect design intent.
• Liaise with project team for shop drawings production.
• Create and update 3D families for project use.
• Identify issues for BIM Engineer where discrepancies occur during design production.
• Prepare models for clash detection coordination.
• Share knowledge and technical information with team members.
• Provide technical guidance and act as advisor to junior modellers.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations, aiming for zero accidents.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
