Job Description & Requirements

Job Purpose:

Create technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations.

Job Duties:

• Acquire site survey data and develop information into AutoCAD drawings.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabricate drawings and as built drawings.
• Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
• Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
• Interpret and check drawings or plans from contractors or consultants on design and construction aspects.
• Ensure on-time completion of required drawings.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM.
• Proficient in computer skills with good working knowledge of 2D, 3D, AutoCAD & BIM.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and work independently.
• Adept at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
