Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a BIM Specialist to ensure that projects meet BIM guidelines and government regulations. You will manage 3D modeling processes, conduct site inspections, and maintain project documentation. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with proficiency in Revit and BIM software. Experience of 3-5 years in BIM roles is preferred.

Job description

Ensure projects are completed in accordance to BIM guidelines and compliance with the relevant government regulatory requirements

Manage the process of 3D modeling (Architectural/Structure) and quality as per Project BIM requirement

Understand and manage the process of 3D model-based shop drawings (Architectural/Structure)

Develop construction Models for 5D quantification and 4D simulation

Perform Clash Detection for coordination between different trades (Architectural/Structure)

Generate Clash Detection Reports for Technical (BIM) Meeting

Manage and chair to the BIM coordination and ICE meeting

Manage processes, implementation, best practices and techniques of BIM and related tools

Make submissions to authority and ensure all forms, drawings and BIM models are submitted.

Maintain project documentation and records, prepare reports, letters, presentations to authorities.

Conduct Site walks and inspection as required.

Job Requirements

Diploma in either Civil Engineering, Sustainable Urban Design & Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture or equivalent; or BCA Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling

Preferably with at least 3-5 years’ experience working with BIM related software or BIM modelling works

Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Proficient in Revit/BIM software for Archi and Structure

Familiar with Singapore Construction Industry regulations
