Job summary

A construction technology company in Singapore is seeking a BIM Manager to lead the implementation of BIM workflows and processes. The successful candidate will coordinate design meetings, manage BIM modelers, and enforce BIM standards. Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of BIM workflows and processes within a project or organization.
• Coordinate Integrated Concurrent Engineering (ICE) meetings, the Internal and Coordinated Combined Services Model (CCSM), to resolve design and construction issues instantly using BIM models and to mitigate latency in decision making and responses.
• Coordinate with Consultants (AR/ST), System-Wide Contractors (SWC) & Sub-Contractors (MEP) and interfacing parties to ensure that discipline-specific design and construction conflicts identified in clash detection are resolved.
• Use Navisworks to generate the Clash Detection Report and BIMcollab to enhance report progress.
• Review and validate models created by different disciplines to ensure they are clash-free, accurate, and compliant with project requirements.
• Liaise with the Project Document Controller for accurate data transfer.
• Participate in technical, design and consultants’ meetings to understand latest onsite requirements and ensure drawings and designs are up to date.
• Establish and enforce BIM standards and quality control procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy in BIM deliverables.
• Develop and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with defined standards.
• Oversee, coordinate, and manage BIM Modelers to meet all BIM deliverables submissions and information exchange schedules as documented in the BEP.
• Assist project team with 3D models and 2D shop drawings.
• Provide training and support to team members who are less experienced with BIM software or modelling techniques.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Structural/Architecture/Engineering/Construction/MEP or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in BIM modeling work in building construction and project execution.
• Knowledge and experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
• Experience in LTA / MRT projects is advantageous.
• Good technical knowledge and planning skills in managing modelling and drafting works.
• Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and proactive mindset.
• Adaptable to working independently and as a team player, with the ability to work under pressure and meet submission deadlines.
