Job summary

A local bakery in Singapore is seeking a skilled pastry chef to prepare and produce high-quality Viennoiseries. The ideal candidate will have experience in lamination and a commitment to maintaining product consistency. The role requires flexibility to work early morning and midnight shifts, ensuring the highest artisanal standards in production. Training will be provided, and adherence to food safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in lamination or Viennoiseries production will be a plus point.
  • Commitment to consistency and quality is essential.
  • Must be able to work weekends and public holidays.
  • Must be able to work early morning and midnight shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, laminate, shape, proof, and bake Viennoiseries to perfection.
  • Maintain consistency in product size, texture, and quality.
  • Handle mise en place, fillings, and finishing with precision.
  • Follow recipes and SOPs for artisanal standards.
  • Ensure food safety and equipment upkeep.
  • Support daily production schedules and manage ingredients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Handle mise en place, fillings, and finishing with precision and care.
  • Follow recipes and SOPs to uphold company’s artisanal standards.
  • Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep in your workspace.
  • Support daily production schedules, manage ingredients efficiently, and minimize wastage.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor/Manager from time to time
Requirements:
  • Experience in lamination or Viennoiseries production will be a plus point (training will be provided).
