Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Audit Partner. The role involves managing all aspects of the audit process and fostering client relationships. Candidates should have significant auditing experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm, with at least 10 years in the field. Qualifications

Roles

The Audit Partner will be responsible for overseeing and managing every aspect of the audit process, including planning, risk assessment, and execution. They will also focus on fostering and maintaining client relationships, managing the team, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the audit process, including planning, risk assessment, and execution.
  • Participate in business development activities, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all audit-related matters.
  • Manage staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure that all work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Review, finalize and sign off all audit reports, ensuring that they are accurate, complete, and clearly communicate the results of the audit.
Requirements
  • Audit professional with one or more of the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting
  • CA Singapore Qualifications will be an advantage
  • Possess other professional accountancy qualifications from recognized accountancy bodies that are recognized in Singapore including ACCA / ICAEW / Singapore CA / CPA Australia or equivalent
  • Big 4 audit experience preferred. Candidates from the mid-tier audit firms will be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years in auditing with at least 3 years in a supervisory role and currently working in the audit profession preferred.
  • Knowledge and competent to handle all auditing areas and the International Financial Reporting Standards and the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Knowledge and experience of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles will be an advantage.
