Qualifications

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • To plan, coordinate and conduct programs/activities that will promote active participation and contribute to the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of the seniors
  • Organize and coordinate social and recreational group activities /excursions together with school/corporate/volunteer etc
  • Coordination of matters concerning centres, programmes, volunteers, seniors and their next of kin/caregiver
  • Assist Manager to ensure smooth operation of the centre including customer service, administrative and logistical support
  • To assist seniors in their daily activities, such as moving around or toileting
  • Perform any other duties as and when assigned
Requirements
  • Experience working in Senior Activity Centre or Active Aging Centre would be advantageous
  • Positive, mature, and independent
  • Good interpersonal, communication skills, both verbal and written,organizational skills, both analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve results under pressure
  • Passion and dedication in working with seniors in the community
  • High integrity, and resilience
  • Good team player
  • Able to motivate, influence, inspire and engage seniors and volunteers
  • Committed to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives and community
