Responsibilities
  • Conduct triage for referred cases needing psychological services.
  • Assist in screening and assessment processes for children and families to gauge mental health challenges and associated risks under supervision.
  • Support the development of case formulations and treatment plans to address specific needs.
  • Provide trauma‑informed, evidence‑based interventions as guided by supervisory staff.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and case conferences with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Contribute to routine service evaluation through data collection and analysis.
  • Aid in creating training materials and resources for internal staff and collaborators.
  • Engage in departmental research initiatives to enhance service provision.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology from a recognized institution.
  • Preferably eligible for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society or an equivalent professional body.
  • 1‑2 years of clinical experience in child, youth, or family settings.
  • Experience in trauma‑informed practices or protection work is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of psychological theories, assessment instruments, and evidence‑based interventions.
  • Excellent skills in case formulation and report writing.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and resilience in managing emotionally challenging situations.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
