Role Overview

Singtel Networks is recruiting network and optical support engineers to maintain and upgrade our transport infrastructure across Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor DWDM and GPON/XGSPON networks, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinate upgrades according to MOP standards.
  • Respond to alarms and customer escalations, conduct root‑cause analysis, and ensure proper service restoration.
  • Provide first‑level technical support to internal and external users, perform initial diagnosis and remote assistance, and document tickets accurately.
  • Collaborate with vendors, field teams, and internal engineering to implement projects, commissioning, and fault resolution.
  • Maintain SOPs, monitor network health, and drive continuous improvement to reduce faults and enhance monitoring/7 standby duty roster and standby support outside normal working hours as required.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in telecommunications, networking, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of 4G, 5G, LTE, VoLTE, and mobile commerce applications.
  • Experience and knowledge of IP networking, Linux, and telco concepts (LAN, WAN, VPN).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, customer‑service orientation, and willingness to work a 24/7 duty roster.
