What the day will look like

Support key retrocession clients:

  • Assist regional retro team and relevant local team to provide best‑in‑class services to key retrocession clients, especially focused on Asia regions and South Korea
  • Work with global teams to provide leading market insights to local teams and clients
  • Work with regional and global teams to coordinate effective inwards business strategies for key retrocession clients across the regions

Assist technical analytic support within teams:

  • Support key clients development through major competitive sales (RFP) opportunities and analytic support regularly
  • Work with regional retro team across Asia Pacific to build business intelligence database

Support new business opportunities:

  • Assist retrocession growth initiatives to effectively sell Aon's value proposition toward target prospects across Asia regions
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • At least 6 years of experience in treaty reinsurance related work at an insurance company, reinsurance company, reinsurance intermediary
  • Specific experience and knowledge for Singapore and HK based reinsurance companies and strategy
  • Specific experience, relationships, and knowledge in major retrocession buyers across Asia regions and South Korea
  • A detailed understanding of the various reinsurance structures to manage risk and implementation of them within the modelling framework
  • Strong interpersonal skills, client management and communication capabilities and the ability to interface with all levels within the corporation and various business units
  • Highly numerate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel within the Asia region to facilitate client presentations, seminars and conferences as required.
  • High self‑motivation and ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and matrixed environment
