The ideal candidate will manage stakeholder relationships, provide technical direction throughout project stages, and drive business growth in the aviation sector. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aviation or Civil Engineering along with 10-15 years of relevant experience is required. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the planning and design of airport projects, including passenger terminals, cargo facilities, airside infrastructure, and landside developments.
• Provide technical direction across all project stages: master planning, concept design, schematic design, detailed design, and construction support.
• Ensure compliance with ICAO, IATA, FAA, EASA, and local aviation authority regulations.
• Provide expert advice on capacity analysis, passenger flow modeling, airside planning, and operational efficiency.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, airport authorities, airlines, operators, and government stakeholders.
• Lead or support high-level client presentations, design reviews, and technical workshops.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Represent the company in meetings with regulators, approval authorities, and joint venture partners.

Business Development & Market Growth

• Support the growth of the aviation business through proactive engagement with existing and new clients.
• Contribute to bids, tenders, EOIs, and proposals, including technical narratives, methodologies, work plans, and fee inputs.
• Assist in identifying new market opportunities, geographic expansion, and emerging aviation trends (e.g., digital airports, sustainability, AAM, net-zero terminals).

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Expand Aviation team for Strategic Business Group
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior and mid-level aviation planners and designers.
• Support resource planning, workload management, and project staffing.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aviation, Civil Engineering or related field
• 10–15+ years’ experience in aviation engineering, airport operations, aviation project delivery
• Strong understanding of aviation infrastructure design, airport planning, operational safety standards and local aviation authority regulations
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement capabilities
