Job Summary:

My client is a regional advisory firm and they are seeking a strategic and experienced Associate Director to lead Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Transformation initiatives within the company's portfolio of customers. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, hands-on experience in delivering end-to-end AI projects, and a strong background in driving digital transformation across government or public service organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, execution, and implementation of AI projects that address public sector challenges and enhance improvements.
• Drive digital transformation strategies, aligning emerging technologies with policy objectives and operational goals.
• Collaborate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and technology partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, policy analysts, and change managers.
• Ensure compliance with public sector standards, data privacy regulations, and ethical AI practices.
• Develop and manage project roadmaps, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Advocate for innovation and digital maturity across departments and agencies.
• Present project outcomes and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and government leaders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technology/automation/digital transformation roles, with at least 5 years in AI project delivery and public sector transformation.
• Proven track record of executing and implementing AI solutions in government or public service environments.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation frameworks, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with AI platforms (e.g., Azure AI, AWS AI, Google Cloud AI), data governance, and ethical AI principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with smart city initiatives, citizen-centric digital services, or public health AI applications.
