CGH is seeking highly skilled and motivated Pathologist with special interest in Gastrointestinal (GI), Pancreaticobiliary and Liver Pathology to join our dynamic Anatomical Pathology team.

Job Description

  1. Perform accurate and timely diagnosis of specimens, including biopsies and resections.
  2. Interpret histological findings and provide comprehensive reports to aid in patient management and treatment planning.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, oncologists, and gastroenterologists, to ensure optimal patient care.
  4. Participate in quality assurance programs and initiatives to maintain high standards of laboratory practice.
  5. Contribute to research activities and scholarly pursuits of pathology.
  6. Any other duties as assigned by the Head.

Job Requirements

  1. Must possess a basic medical degree AND/OR a postgraduate medical qualification which is registrable with Singapore Medical Council (SMC) (www.smc.gov.sg).
  2. Must have specialty training which is recognised by the Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB), Singapore.
  3. Are required to produce documentary evidence of specialist training and specialist registration in the country of origin and from the relevant licensing body/organisation in the country where the specialty training was done.
  4. Preferably should have working experience in the country of origin as an accredited and licensed medical specialist.
  5. Must fulfil other criteria as stipulated by Singapore Medical Council for Conditional Medical Registration.
  6. Must meet English language proficiency requirement of SMC if the medium of instruction for the basic medical qualification is not in English language.
