Role — Platform Engineer (Digital Enterprise Solutions)

As a Platform Engineer who supports and enhances our Enterprise Service Management (ESM) platform, you will be able to:

Responsibilities
  • Develop and support the implementation of the ESM platform modules that meet business requirements while ensuring alignment with security, development, and coding best practices.
  • Oversee the technical design, configuration and customization of the ESM platform and its modules including ITSM, HR, Workplace Management, Risk Management, IT Security Operations, etc.
  • Develop technical integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON APIs to ensure seamless operation of the ESM platform.
  • Develop custom scripts and code to extend the functionality of the ESM platform.
  • Plan and manage technical tasks and schedules to ensure high quality and timely delivery throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures for the ESM platform.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including program and project managers, business users, technical teams, and external partners; communicate complex technical concepts across technical and non-technical audiences; work closely with Delivery and Product Manager to implement product features aligned with business requirements.
  • Project Management: Provide daily project status updates referenced to JIRA epics, stories, and backlogs; provide proactive backlog status updates during daily stand-ups and sprint reviews with technical details.
What makes you a successful candidate?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in software development, system/platform engineering, preferably with relevant technical certifications and a focus on ESM platform development (e.g., ServiceNow, Atlassian, or BMC) with capabilities such as ITSM, HR, Workplace Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance, IT Security Operations, etc.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise application software development, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and support; thorough understanding of delivery methodologies and tools (SDLC).
  • Strong background in system engineering, coding, integration, and technical architecture.
  • Experience with API development and integration using REST, SOAP, JSON APIs.
  • Experience with project delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Jira).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with corporate services business domains such as HR, Finance, IT, Governance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit, Corporate Communications, IT Security Operations, Workplace Management and Business Continuity Management.
  • ESM product certification (ServiceNow, Atlassian, or BMC) is advantageous; financial industry experience is a plus.
