Job summary

A leading insurance company in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Group Corporate Communications & CSR. The ideal candidate will lead both external and internal communication efforts while managing CSR programs to enhance the company's reputation. About the Job

This role will independently lead and support External & Internal Communication efforts, CSR initiatives and content development to build corporate brand reputation and value.


External Communications


  • Develop and execute corporate PR campaigns to enhance visibility and positive perception of our brand across multiple lines of business and channels

  • Work with stakeholders to develop opportunities to proactively raise our media profile, industry thought leadership position and executive profiling of our senior leadership team

  • Engage and manage relations with media, industry, and other relevant stakeholders to promote our corporate and business profile

  • Deliver counsel and communications support to issues management and execute appropriate response plans to manage reputational risks

  • Manage executive profiling and corporate LinkedIn profile

  • Develop suite of corporate content such as Corporate Annual Report, corporate profiles, branded collaterals and social content


Internal Communications


  • Craft articles and content pieces to keep financial representatives and employees updated on the group-wide initiatives across markets

  • Develop executive communications, including but not limited to speeches and thought leadership features, tailored to specific audiences

  • Support change management with communication toolkits


CSR


  • Manage CSR programs and activities to build positive reputation aligned with the Group Sustainability strategy

  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company


Qualifications & Experience


  • Degree in Communications or equivalent

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience

  • Digitally savvy in leveraging new mediums and formats to drive PR results and ability to produce engaging materials

  • Possess strong verbal and excellent written communication skills

  • Ability to build strong partnerships across all areas of the organization and with colleagues at all levels

  • Exposure in BFSI environments will be an advantage

  • High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork

  • Take initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
