Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage building enhancement and renovation projects from planning through execution. The role involves overseeing project teams and contractors, managing budgets and timelines, ensuring compliance with statutory and building regulations, and driving successful project delivery through effective risk, change, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project teams and contractors to ensure effective coordination and execution of projects.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, scope, timelines, and resource requirements for building enhancement projects.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and providing regular updates on expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, building regulations, and other applicable legal standards.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions and ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress against established milestones and deliverables, identify deviations, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring all modifications are properly evaluated, approved, and implemented.
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in general building and renovation works, typically 15 years or more.
  • Formal qualification in a building-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, materials, and prevailing market rates and practices.
Skills
  • Effective leadership skills to oversee project teams, provide direction, resolve conflicts, and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
