Qualifications

Responsibilities

• As one of our Assistant Teachers, you play a key role in creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where every child thrives. You will support Class Teachers in day-to-day routines, classroom activities, and provide individual attention to help children reach their developmental milestones.
• Support Class Teachers in classroom and non-classroom settings, including routines, outdoor play, snack time, and learning journeys.
• Work in small groups or one-on-one with students in the classroom to reinforce instructional material.
• Assist class teacher in organizing the learning environment, preparing teaching materials and maintaining resource and ensure a clean organized classroom.
• Encourage student participation, promote positive behaviour, and reinforce classroom expectations.
• Collaborate with teachers to support students’ learning progress and well-being and manage classroom dynamics, including supporting students with development behaviours/learning needs.
• Ensure children’s safety and well-being by following school guidelines and routines.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification in Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (FECEE)

• Understanding of basic principles of child development
