The ideal candidate should preferably be FECCE certified and demonstrate strong abilities in relationship building and teamwork. Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in facilitating learning.
• Conduct daily routine care and associated duties.
• Assist in preparing and implementing child programs.
• Prepare developmentally appropriate teaching aids.
• Evaluate and maintain child development records.
• Render basic first aid when necessary.
• Maintain and arrange teaching resources and classroom decor.
• Use positive discipline techniques consistently.
• Build relationships with children and parents.
• Participate in engagement activities with parents and community.

Assistant Teacher

Role description:

• Support the main classroom teachers in the implementation of daily programs to facilitate learning of children
• Conduct daily routine care and related duties
• Assist in preparing and implementing the programs for children
• Assist with planning, share ideas and exchange feedback with the entire team once a month, adhoc basis and as required
• Prepare age and developmentally appropriate teaching aids
• Evaluate and maintain records of children’s development
• To render basic first aid as and when necessary
• Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, prepare art and craft materials, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom
• Use positive discipline techniques at all times
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents
• Being part of the team, you will participate in parents and community engagement activities
