Job summary

A nurturing education center in Singapore is seeking passionate assistant teachers who can engage children through meaningful experiences and play. The successful candidate will assist class teachers, create an engaging environment, and ensure routine care and safety for children. Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

• Use effective classroom management skills, coupled with effective disciplinary skills in accordance with school’s no shout policy
• Assist class teachers to implement programme for the class according to inquiry and reggio-inspired approach as well as school’s framework for culinary and outdoor experiential learning
• Assist class teachers to set up a warm, cosy, yet engaging environment that promotes self-directed learning in accordance to Reggio Emilia approach
• Carry out routine care of children in a patient and kind manner, creating teachable moments
• Ensure safety and hygiene of the children through good routine care and the necessary
• Build and maintain a professional yet affable bond with parents

Requirement

FECCE or minimum 1-year assisting experience in a pre-school in Singapore
