Position Summary
- Supervise the night shift security operation together with the agency security team, including vessel crew movement, resident and common contractor movement.
- Plan and organize night shift security patrols.
- Respond and proceed to Kian Teck dormitory in case of any emergency at night‑time.
- Attend the vessel in case of any emergency and security incident.
- liaise with night shift duty officer and HSE duty officer on any emergency or security incident.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure professional discharge of security duties and resolve any conflicts arising from performance of duties at the lowest possible level.
- Ensure all security personnel are properly oriented and constantly updated on yard policies and procedures.
- Ensure all security personnel in supervisory positions can cover the duties of the security supervisor in his absence.
- Assist the security supervisor with daily security operations and issues if any.
- Maintain strong operational control and good relationships and teamwork with outsourced security officers and liaise with the outsourced security provider to resolve deployment and disciplinary issues.
- Ensure regular yard inspections and periodic vessel inspections as scheduled.
- Conduct regular checks of dormitories of employees and subcontractors and external locations under security control.
- Assist the security supervisor with security drill plans and lead in emergency response based on business and safety requirements.
- Prepare daily contractors attendance summary report and email to related department heads.
- Control and supervise outsourced security officers' job scope, taking immediate corrective action wherever necessary in security operations.
- Prepare ID cards, gangway and confined space passes for yard employees and resident contractors.
- Maintain office door access system, providing door access for new employees and replacement ID cards for existing staff.
- Monitor yard CCTV footage and report to the supervisor in case of any CCTV camera breakdown.
- Attend ISPS security declaration compliance for new vessel arrival.
- Complete daily security operations paperwork and updates.

- At least 2 years of experience in security management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to handle high‑pressure situations.
- Good knowledge of security systems and procedures.
- Ability to supervise and train security personnel.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends.
- Valid Security Officer License.
