Job summary

A leading healthcare facility in Singapore is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to manage infrastructure development and improvement projects. Candidates should have a recognized degree or diploma in Architectural Studies/Interior Design, relevant work experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Strong project management skills and experience in healthcare facilities design are preferred. This role is critical in ensuring successful project execution from inception to handover.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience with a recognized degree.
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience with a diploma.
  • Experience in designing healthcare facilities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility studies and project planning.
  • Execute and coordinate infrastructure improvement projects.

Assistant Project Manager, Facilities Development

Reporting to the Senior Assistant Director, you are responsible for the feasibility study, project planning, execution, coordination and implementation of the infrastructure, development, and improvement projects of the Hospital.

You will develop conceptual proposal layout, carry out budget estimate, prepare tender, recommend award, providing site supervision and coordination works with all concerned parties as well as approving authorities from inception to handover stage.

Requirements:

  • Recognised degree in Architectural Studies/ Interior Design with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience; or
  • Diploma in Architectural Studies/Interior Design with at least 8 years’ relevant work experience;
  • Competency in AutoCAD;
  • Able to organise, prioritise and schedule work assignments independently and effectively;
  • Experience in designing healthcare facilities and proven track record of good project management skills will be an advantage; and
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
