Overview

School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore invites applications for an Assistant Professor (Tenure-track) in Experimental (Bio)Analytical or Physical Chemistry. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and mentoring in a dynamic and collaborative environment that advances education and research across chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, and related multidisciplinary fields.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in related subjects and develop course materials.
  • Conduct original scholarly research in experimental (bio)analytical or physical chemistry.
  • Advise, supervise, train, and mentor students and junior researchers.
  • Contribute to the development of the department’s research programs and graduate curricula.
Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related science or engineering field by the start of employment and demonstrate experience in the related research area.

Emoluments

The commencing salary will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and the level of appointment offered.
